Every single human being is familiar with the favorite word food, but most of them are not aware of the disorders that are caused by food when it is consumed in abnormal proportions. The eating disorder treatment can be characterized into two types namely bulimic and anorexia. Bulimic disorder is an eating disorder that is caused by consuming larger quantity of food and vomiting to compensate for the caloric intake. Bulimia can cause dental and mental problems. The causes of bulimia ranges from events of trauma to pressures and expectations of the society as a whole. Some of the symptoms of bulimia are lack of control over eating, tooth decay and scarred hands. The bulimic treatment includes a variety of processes like group therapy and nutrition education.

Anorexia is another type of eating disorder that deals with rapid weight loss and fascination regarding food. Anorexia is common among women with low self esteem. Anorexia causes anxiety and difficulty in decision making. Some of the causes of anorexia is family system and society’s influence. Some of the physical symptoms of anorexia are thinning of hair, dry skin and bitter finger nails. Some of the psychological symptoms are low self esteem and depression. Behavioral symptoms of anorexia include self harm and fainting due to malnutrition. anorexic treatment includes processes like group therapy and nutritional education.

Apart from these strict and supervised physical fitness training and a variety of outdoor activities can make sure that the eating disorder always stays away from you. Most importantly, be who you are and make sure you don’t change yourself due to the pressures and expectations put upon you by the society. Eat healthy and natural food that meets your entire requirement and all the needs whenever you find time is not one of the best habits to follow.
