Surprising Causes Of Hair Loss
Posted in general on January 18th, 2011 by admin – Be the first to commentI was very surprised to discover some of the causes of hair loss. I read something that said that certain diseases such as diabetes and lupus can cause thinning hair. I never knew that before but I suppose it makes sense. I know that malnutrition or poor nutrition can cause hair loss so I can understand why that may be related to diabetes. In the same way your body would not be getting enough nutrients and would not be able correctly feed all of your cells if you were mentioned, diabetes is unable to feed your cells the sugar it needs because it lacks the proper insulin to unlock the cells. So, it does make sense that both of these conditions can lead to thinning hair.
I do not know much about Lupus, though so I do not know what the relation is with the effects of that disease and hair loss. It goes to show you how fragile our bodies are because one little thing can lead to another and our system is all so interconnected. The fact that what you eat or do not eat can contribute to thinning hair is crazy. I hope research can continue to shed light on things like this and hopefully give us some more facts about our bodies and how they relate to hair loss!
